What to Expect
When you visit New Philadelphia, you can expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere centered on worship, prayer, fellowship, and the Word of God.
Our Sunday worship experience includes praise and worship, prayer, ministry through music, and biblical preaching and teaching. Every service may look a little different, but our desire is always the same—to create an atmosphere where people can encounter God, be encouraged, and grow in their faith.
Whether you are visiting church for the first time, returning after some time away, or simply looking for a new church home, you are welcome here. Come ready to worship, connect, and experience New Philadelphia for yourself.
What to Wear
There is no special dress code at New Philadelphia. You will see everything from Sunday best to more casual attire, and you are welcome to come in whatever makes you feel comfortable.
What matters most to us is that you are here. Come as you are, and come ready to worship with us.
Bringing your family
Families are always welcome at New Philadelphia. We want children, teens, and adults alike to feel included, comfortable, and connected when they visit.
Children and youth are invited to participate in our worship services, and age-appropriate Sunday School classes are available each Sunday morning. We also offer a special teen Sunday School class every third Sunday.
Every third Sunday is Youth Sunday, a special time when we celebrate, encourage, and create opportunities for our children and young people to be involved in the worship experience.
We believe church should be a place where the entire family can grow in faith together, and we look forward to welcoming yours.
Accessibility & Assistance
We want every guest to feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported when visiting New Philadelphia.
For guests with mobility needs, we recommend using the parking lot located directly beside the church. This lot provides the easiest access to the building, with a step-free, level route from the parking area to the front sidewalk and main entrance.
Additional parking is available in the lot across the street and along the street; however, some of those routes may require the use of stairs.
For anyone who would benefit from an even easier entrance into the sanctuary, side-door sanctuary access is also available. Simply knock, and a member of our church family will be happy to assist with the door.
Inside the sanctuary, we use individual chairs rather than fixed pews, allowing us greater flexibility to comfortably accommodate guests who use wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility devices.
Restrooms are available, and we are continuing to evaluate ways to make our facilities and worship experience even more accessible.
Our ushers and church family are always happy to assist whenever possible. If you have a specific accessibility need or would like assistance during your visit, please feel free to let us know.
